Birds, summer and ... Excuse me?

Just a short heads-up on our status-quo, the not-existing summer-breeze and birds that decide to head towards the south again, because they strongly dislike the weather in Germany.
End of June - 12 degrees Celsius outside that come along with heavy rains and all shades of grey – this time to be found in the sky. We seriously miss the summer and our van.
He is in the garage for his first check-up with the mechanics for a little over a week now and we will have to wait a couple of days more until we will have him back. So far no calls with disastrous news regarding any bits and pieces from the garage popped-up, so we are in a good mood and high spirits for our real summer trip plans.
The meantime we have used to do some short travelling for a long weekend to Barcelona- and we had a blast! We will give a recap on this marvellous weekend shortly.
For now we just stick to “Oh, we love the summer in Germany, it is the best week of the year” - grab your light rain jacket and enjoy the day.
